The use of observation and understanding to arrive at insights in how events, people and ideas mix and move within the context of their social settings point to how characters (i) perceive and speculate about their worlds, (ii) reveal implied and explicit assumptions that reflect what is normal or what is supposed to be normal at the era for the setting, (iii) are brought convincingly to life (or otherwise).

The concept of journey is the pivot point for all content examinations, including(i) action and movements, (ii) dialogue flow, (iii) emotional tides, (iv) purpose and impact, (v) the existence of a quest or at least signs and direction of a current, (vi) the prevailing themes, (vii) leadership-followership and power dynamics, (viii) the environmental murkiness or clarity of settings, (ix) the difficulty level or authenticity of obstacles to the journey, and (x) how engaging is the plot.
